Role Description This part-time on-site Pharmacist role is based in Philomath, OR and involves direct patient care and medication management. Day-to-day responsibilities include accurately dispensing prescriptions, verifying dosages and potential interactions, and counseling patients on proper medication use, side effects, and treatment plans. The Pharmacist will collaborate with prescribers, answer medication-related questions, and maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations. Additional duties include overseeing pharmacy technicians, ensuring proper inventory management, and contributing to quality assurance and safety procedures. The role also involves giving and supporting immunizations.
Qualifications
- Active Pharmacist license in the state of Oregon in good standing, with eligibility to provide immunizations as applicable.
- Demonstrated knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, dosage calculations, and safe dispensing practices.
- Strong patient counseling and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and respectfully.
