Responsibilities
- Diagnose transmission issues using automotive diagnostics tools and schematics to identify root causes efficiently.
- Perform comprehensive vehicle maintenance, including fluid changes, clutch replacements, and powertrain repairs.
- Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and electrical systems to troubleshoot complex electrical problems related to transmissions.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical repair techniques to execute repairs with precision.
- Conduct wheel alignments, vehicle inspections, and heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to manual handling protocols.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete repair reports, and communicate findings clearly to customers and team members.
Qualifications
- Proven experience AND extensive mechanic background with a focus on transmission systems.
- Appropriate State of Michigan certification
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
- Ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
