You will be instrumental in advancing our mission through innovative fundraising, impactful event planning, and effective community engagement. With partnerships with bands and Red Rocks, as well as pro sports teams, we operate in an exciting way with events in the music, sports and exciting event space.
Duties
- Lead and coordinate fundraising initiatives, including grant proposal writing, estate planning outreach, and donor engagement strategies using CRM software such as Salesforce and Raiser's Edge.
- Plan, execute, and manage impactful events that raise awareness and foster community involvement, utilizing event management tools and digital marketing platforms like Mailchimp and WordPress.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to expand organizational reach through social media management, email marketing campaigns, and public relations efforts.
- Manage databases for data collection, research, and relationship management to ensure accurate tracking of donor information, volunteer activities, and program outcomes.
- Oversee budgeting processes for programs and events, ensuring financial sustainability while maintaining compliance with nonprofit regulations related to wills, trusts, estate law, and other legal considerations.
- Cultivate strong relationships with community partners, stakeholders, volunteers, and donors through effective relationship management and negotiation skills.
- Coordinate volunteer management efforts to support organizational programs and events while fostering a positive volunteer experience.
Experience
- Proven experience in nonprofit management or related roles with a strong background in fundraising, marketing, or development activities.
- Demonstrated expertise in event planning, digital marketing (including social media), email marketing platforms like Constant Contact or Mailchimp, and CRM systems such as Salesforce or Raiser's Edge.
- Strong skills in proposal writing, grant application processes, budgeting, research methodologies, and strategic planning.
- Familiarity with estate planning laws (wills, trusts & estate law) is advantageous for donor relations activities involving estate gifts.
- Experience working within university settings or similar educational institutions is preferred but not required.
- Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to negotiate effectively across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in data collection and record keeping.
