Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. In this vital role, you will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, ensuring accurate patient care, and maintaining efficient pharmacy operations. Your expertise will contribute directly to delivering safe, effective medication therapy and outstanding patient service in a fast-paced healthcare setting. Rotating shifts on drive-thru.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and dispense medications accurately under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, including LTC (Long-Term Care) and hospital pharmacy settings.
- Assist with medication intake, verification, and inventory management to ensure stock levels meet patient needs.
- Maintain thorough documentation of medication administration, patient interactions, and pharmacy records with attention to detail.
- Ensure compliance with medical terminology standards, hospital protocols, and safety procedures related to aseptic technique and medication handling.
- Provide excellent patient service by answering questions, clarifying medication instructions, and supporting patient care initiatives.
- Participate in medication reconciliation processes and collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Requirements
- Licensed with the Oregon Board of Pharmacy
- Proven pharmacy technician experience with a strong understanding of medical terminology and medication management.
- Retail experience
- Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional patient service and support comprehensive patient care.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage intake processes efficiently in fast-paced settings.
- Ongoing professional development is encouraged for required CE's.
