Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on a wide range of equipment, including HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and mechanical systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operation.
• Troubleshoot and repair appliances, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems, electrical components, and mechanical devices using schematics and technical manuals.
• Conduct detailed inspections of facilities to identify potential issues related to air conditioning, refrigeration, or general mechanical systems.
• Utilize schematics and technical diagrams to diagnose problems accurately and implement effective solutions efficiently.
• Lead small maintenance projects or repairs, coordinating with team members or contractors as needed to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference.
• Respond promptly to emergency repair requests to minimize downtime and operational disruptions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical maintenance.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints for troubleshooting purposes.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems—including air conditioning units—and refrigeration equipment is essential.
• Mechanical knowledge combined with construction experience is highly desirable for complex repairs or installations.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively while working independently or as part of a team.
• Hands-on experience repairing equipment across various systems such as electrical wiring, motors, pumps, or compressors.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to diagnosing issues quickly and accurately.
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments requiring standing, climbing ladders, or lifting heavy objects as necessary.
