About the Role
We’re seeking a seasoned Operations Manager to lead daily field execution for HVAC installation, service, and maintenance projects across residential and commercial departments. This role is a key member of the leadership team and a true business partner to operations and department leaders—mentoring field teams, implementing best practices, and collaborating across the company to ensure efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
What You’ll Do
Oversee daily operations of HVAC installation, service, and maintenance teams
Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to drive efficiency, safety, and quality
Coordinate schedules, permitting, inspections, and material delivery to ensure project success
Manage labor budgets, job costing, and field productivity
Hire, train, and evaluate field staff, fostering accountability and career development
Conduct jobsite inspections and quality checks, resolving escalated technical or customer issues
Partner with leadership and internal teams to improve processes, optimize workflows, and support strategic initiatives
What We’re Looking For
5 years of experience in HVAC operations, installation, or service leadership
Strong understanding of residential and commercial HVAC project cycles
Proven ability to lead field teams and drive performance improvements
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and field management tools (e.g., ServiceTitan)
Preferred:
8 years in HVAC or skilled trades field management
Multi-location or regional operations experience
Job costing and labor budgeting expertise
OSHA-10 or OSHA-30 certification
Experience with permitting, inspections, and builder compliance
