JOB SUMMARY:
Phillipsburg Emergency Squad answers up to 5,000 calls a year, and more with each year. As one of the busiest agencies in Warren County the opportunity to gain experience is present, with wide variety of calls.
In addition, Phillipsburg Emergency Squad continues to grow, allowing for promotions to leadership positions, and specialist positions.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
- Ability to operate as part of a 2-person crew including patient movement / lifting
MANDATORY CERTIFICATIONS:
- New Jersey, Pennsylvania, National Registry EMT-B, or any other NJOEMS approved certification.
- CPR for Professional Rescuer.
- Coaching the Emergency Vehicle Operator (CEVO) or Emergency Vehicle Operation Course (EVOC).
- Incident Command 100 & 200 (ICS-100 & 200)
- National Incident Management System 700 (NIMS 700)
- Blood Borne Pathogens within the past year
- Prehospital Trauma Life Support (or equivalent)
