Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport steel products to customers
- Load and unload product using a fork lift, crane, or other equipment
- Ensure products are properly secured and protected during transit
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the company
- Provide exceptional customer service by delivering product in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues encountered
-Warehouse duties include pulling & cutting steel orders for delivery and walk in customers. Cutting steel with a bandsaw and shear. Unloading delivery trucks and stocking product.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a chauffeurs license highly recommended
- Ability to operate delivery vehicles, including vans or trucks
- Ability to lift heavy product (up to 50lbs) and some hand unloading trucks
- Mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
- Organizational skills to ensure accurate picking and loading of steel product
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
-Must be able to read a tape measure, do basic math, and have good customer service skills
