Job Title: Tire Technician/General Laborer
Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Tire Shop Laborer to join our team. This operation in a fast-paced environment requiring, physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mount, balance, and install tires
- Inspect tires for wear, damage, or defects and recommend appropriate services.
- Perform tire rotations, alignments, and basic repairs (e.g., patching).
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking tires.
- Operate machinery such as tire changers, balancers, and air compressors safely.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and ensuring timely service.
- Follow all safety protocols and shop procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
Qualifications:
- Some High School preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50-75 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn on the job.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver’s license is preferred.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
Work Environment:
- Full-time position
- Work is performed in a shop setting with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
