Key Responsibilities
- Pack and Wrap: Select the right size boxes, wrap fragile items, and pack products tightly using tape, filler, or straps.
- Inspect Quality: Check products for visual defects, tears, or damage before packing.
- Weigh and Label: Weigh packages, print shipping labels, and attach barcodes correctly.
- Scan and Update: Use handheld barcode scanners or computers to update inventory counts.
- Maintain Safety: Keep the work area clean, follow all warehouse safety rules, and lift items carefully.
- Ability to drive a forklift is a strong plus
- Must speak English-Bi-Lingual Preferred
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Physical Strength: Ability to stand or walk for long shifts and lift up to 55 pounds.
- Attention to Detail: Basic math and reading skills to match order slips with correct items.
- Experience: Warehouse or packing experience is a plus, but entry-level applicants are welcome.
