What the Program Support Coordinator does:
As a key member of our team, you’ll help ensure smooth daily operations and provide direct support to students in a special education setting. Your work will span program coordination, student services, and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Program Director and Behavior Supervisor to manage coverage needs and resolve issues
- Oversee and audit the Student Medication Administration process
- Plan and implement meaningful on- and off-campus work experiences for students
- Transport students to internship sites, observe performance, and provide job coaching
- Coordinate the Lunch Program and maintain communication with the food vendor and dietician
- Organize and administer local and state standardized testing in coordination with counties and teachers
- Track and communicate staff absenteeism
- Support on-campus student activities and reinforcement programs
- Attend meetings, workshops, webinars, and conferences as needed
- Drive company vehicles to transport students (passenger endorsement strongly encouraged)
- Perform other duties as assigned
CREDENTIALS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- At least 2 years of administrative or related experience
- Experience in a nonprofit, educational, or school setting strongly preferred
