In this role, you will assist with the assembly, maintenance, repair, and setup of die components used in production operations. Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain die components and tooling
- Assemble and disassemble die components
- Perform in-house die repairs and component replacements
- Read and follow work instructions and set-up sheets
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Complete required production and processing documentation
- Use hand tools and precision measuring equipment
- Operate overhead cranes and lift trucks safely
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Support production and tooling operations as needed
Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Previous manufacturing, tooling, maintenance, or mechanical experience preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documents is a plus
- Experience using hand tools and measuring instruments preferred
- Forklift and overhead crane experience is beneficial, but training may be provided
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift and move materials throughout the shift
