Software & Systems Implementation
The Enterprise Applications & Projects Manager is responsible for leading software implementations and cross-functional technology projects across the organization. Key Responsibilities
Software & Systems Implementation
- Lead end-to-end implementation of enterprise software across construction, operations, fleet, finance, HR, and field teams
- Coordinate vendors, integrators, and internal teams to manage scope, timelines, risks, and dependencies
- Ensure implementations meet functional requirements, quality standards, and operational readiness criteria
- Oversee testing, training coordination, data migration, and go-live support
- Manage multiple concurrent initiatives of varying size and complexity
- Develop project plans, milestones, success metrics, and delivery schedules
- Manage projects within approved budgets, tracking costs, forecasts, and variances
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and transitioned cleanly to operational ownership
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical business stakeholders
- Facilitate requirements gathering and solution reviews with operations, finance, HR, fleet, and field teams
- Communicate project status, risks, financials, and outcomes to leadership and stakeholders
- Set expectations and manage relationships with internal teams and external partners
- Ensure solutions align with IT standards, security requirements, and operational processes
- Drive completeness including documentation, training, support models, and ownership handoffs
- Promote consistent project and implementation practices across the IT organization
- Evaluate and support appropriate use of emerging technologies, automation, and AI to improve efficiency and outcomes
- 5 years of experience managing software implementations, enterprise applications, or IT projects
- Experience in construction, industrial, or asset-intensive environments preferred
- Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Proven ability to manage vendors, budgets, and delivery outcomes
- Strong organizational, financial awareness, and follow-through skills
- PMP Certificate
