About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Buyer to support our Mexico manufacturing operations by sourcing and purchasing raw materials and pass-through finished goods critical to production. This role is highly operational and hands-on, ensuring material availability, competitive cost structures, and strong supplier performance.
You will work closely with Operations, Planning, Engineering, Quality, and Finance to protect margins, maintain supply continuity, and drive continuous improvement across assigned categories.

What You’ll Do
Own Material Availability
- Source and purchase raw materials and finished goods aligned with production schedules and demand forecasts
- Issue and manage purchase orders, ensuring pricing, quantities, and delivery commitments are accurate
- Monitor open orders daily; proactively expedite and resolve supply disruptions
- Coordinate forecast adjustments and inventory strategies with Planning and Operations
Drive Cost & Margin Protection
- Lead supplier negotiations for pricing, payment terms, and commercial agreements
- Obtain competitive bids in accordance with purchasing policies
- Identify cost reduction opportunities including alternate sourcing and supplier consolidation
- Monitor market and commodity trends impacting material cost
Manage Supplier Performance
- Serve as primary point of contact for assigned suppliers
- Track and improve supplier quality, delivery, and responsiveness metrics
- Lead corrective actions and performance improvement discussions
- Partner with Quality and Engineering to resolve material issues
Support Operational Excellence
- Contribute to new product introductions and engineering changes
- Maintain accurate ERP data, pricing, and supplier records
- Analyze spend and track KPIs including cost savings, delivery performance, and lead times
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulatory requirements
What We’re Looking For
- 7 years of procurement or supply chain experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong experience supporting production schedules and material planning
- Demonstrated success negotiating supplier pricing and commercial terms
- Proven track record delivering cost savings and improving supplier performance
- ERP system experience required (SAP, M3, Oracle, JDE, or similar)
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills
- Experience supporting Mexico-based or cross-border manufacturing operations preferred
- Bilingual Spanish a plus

Salary : $110,000 - $125,000
