What You'll Do
- Own the architecture. Define the enterprise architecture roadmap and future-state technology strategy for Phillips Connect's cloud platform.
- Build for scale. Design secure, high-performance, cloud-native solutions across microservices, APIs, data platforms, AI/ML, and mobile applications.
- Keep the lights on. Provide technical ownership for 24x7 cloud services' uptime, reliability, and operational stability.
- Be the trusted expert. Guide cross-functional teams and business leaders to align technology decisions with real business outcomes.
- Lead from the front. Drive incident management, root cause analysis, and resolution planning when it matters most.
- Innovate continuously. Research and deploy cutting-edge AWS-based solutions across data, integration, and AI/ML capabilities.
- Grow the team. Manage and mentor 2–4 technical professionals and partner with engineering, product, and customer success teams.
What We're Looking For
- 8 years of progressive IT leadership with a track record of delivering complex, large-scale solutions.
- Deep AWS expertise, hands-on experience across cloud-native architecture, infrastructure, and services (certification preferred).
- Strong full-stack architecture background, including microservices, API Gateway, Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
- Familiarity with REST, JSON, XML, event-driven architectures, and modern data and AI/ML concepts.
- A strategic thinker who can communicate with executives, inspire engineers, and drive alignment across the organization.
- Highly accountable, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
