Phillips Auto Parts is looking for a dependable, customer-focused Counter Salesperson to join our team.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, working in a fast-paced parts environment, and being part of a team that supports professional repair shops, fleets, farms, commercial accounts, and walk-in customers.
Position Responsibilities
Assist customers at the counter and over the phone
Look up and sell auto parts accurately
Help commercial and retail customers find the right parts the first time
Build strong relationships with local shops, fleets, and regular customers
Process orders, returns, and warranties
Stock shelves and help maintain a clean, organized store
Support delivery, inventory, and daily store operations as needed
Work with the team to grow sales and provide excellent customer service
Requirements
Must have a valid North Carolina driver’s license
Auto parts knowledge preferred
Counter sales, parts store, repair shop, or dealership experience is a plus
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to use a computer and parts lookup systems
Reliable, organized, and willing to learn
Team player with a good attitude
Must be able to lift parts and supplies as needed
