Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

The pay range for this position in Latham, NY is $96,000 to $152,000
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. Your Role
- Be part of a Manufacturing Engineering organization of approximately 35 professionals, including Engineers, IT Specialists, Drafters, and Technicians, supporting site manufacturing operations. This role contributes to cross-functional execution and technical alignment across multiple disciplines.
- Lead and execute complex manufacturing projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence. You will be responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements that deliver measurable results.
- Provide advanced technical support for manufacturing operations, troubleshooting equipment and process issues, and mentoring junior engineers. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards at all times.
- Manage the installation and ramp-up of new equipment and technologies, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration into production. Evaluate and optimize equipment performance for efficiency and reliability.
- Support change management activities, including operations change orders and continuous improvement initiatives. Facilitate Kaizen events and structured problem-solving to address root causes and sustain improvements.
- You have acquired a Minimum of 2 years of experience in Manufacturing/ Operations, Production Engineering, or equivalent; within Medical Devices industry preferably.
- Your skills include proficiency with automation, electro-mechanical systems, and change management tools (Windchill /Reliance EtQ); Lean Six Sigma Methodologies; deep understanding of regulatory, safety, and quality requirements in a manufacturing environment.
- You have a Bachelor's / master's degree in mechanical engineering, Electronics Engineering, Sciences, or related field.
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
- You are an effective communicator with consolidated leadership and organizational skills, as well as proven ability to manage projects, mentor others and collaborate in cross-functional environments.
