As a Hardware Development Engineer, you will be designing and developing the hardware for ultrasound products.
Your Role
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
This is an office-based role.

The pay range for this position in WA is $82,000 - $131,000
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. Hardware Development Engineer - PCB Design (Bothell, WA)
As a Hardware Development Engineer, you will be designing and developing the hardware for ultrasound products.
Your Role
- Deliver high quality analog/mixed signal and digital hardware designs (power, signal path, etc.) starting from requirements and schematic development until release (end to end).
- Document development efforts for the subsystem, component, or module, including requirements, specifications, plans, and reviews.
- Perform integration and debugging of designs. Coordinate, support and execute product tests to provide a traceable verification of the design.
- Conduct technical design reviews with the project team(s) and independent subject matter experts across the company.
- Actively participate in cost saving opportunities, design maintenance and solving end-of-life issues.
- You’ve earned a BS or MS (preferred) in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- You have 1 years of professional experience in electronic hardware development. Ideally your experience is focused on discrete circuit design.
- You have strong fundamentals in circuits, analog/mixed signal designs and digital designs. Experience with power conversion (SMPS circuits) desired.
- You’re experienced in schematic capture tools (Mentor Graphics, Cadence, Altium). Experience with Spice preferred.
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
