The Engineering Tech would maintain Philips test equipment and complex tools on the production floor. You will be working closely with the Test Engineering and Production staff to troubleshoot and repair production equipment as issue arise, while leading team members and looking for areas to improve our production lines.
Your role:
- Providing first line support alongside the production supervisor, responding to Andon Light issues related to equipment.
- Escalating production issues as required to the appropriate personnel.
- Assisting the production team to assess line stoppages and production line issues.
- Working with Manufacturing Test Engineers to create and maintain test procedure documents.
- Performing Out of Tolerance (OOT) evaluations.
- Writing and revising validation plans.
- Managing the Test Engineering Lab and Tool Crib.
- Assisting Test Engineers with new test system design and assembly.
- The ability to work overtime is an essential function of this 1st shift position.
You're the right fit if you have:
- High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of experience or an Assoicate degree with Electrical Engineering.
- Experience working within a regulated environment (preferred)Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing Principals. Strong writing, communication and organizational skills.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and leading team members.
- Manufacturing or production testing experience (a plus).
- Knowledge of IPC (workmanship for PCA’s) standards (a plus).
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

Philips Transparency Details
The hourly pay range for this position is $22.43 to $38.45, plus overtime eligible. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
