About the Role

PHILIPP PLEIN is looking for a motivated Junior Marketplace Operations Specialist to join our growing digital commerce team.
Working closely with the Marketplace Manager, you will support the daily operations of Amazon and Walmart and contribute to the continued growth of our marketplace business across North and South America. You will help launch products, maintain catalogs, support promotions, resolve operational issues, and coordinate with teams across Europe and North America.
This role is ideal for someone who is organized, curious, comfortable working with product data, and eager to develop a career in marketplace operations.
What You’ll Do
- Support the day-to-day operations of Amazon and Walmart Marketplace.
- Work closely with the Marketplace Manager and global teams to coordinate product and seasonal launches.
- Create, update, and maintain product listings, pricing, images, content, and product information.
- Support new product launches from initial setup through successful go-live.
- Perform catalog updates, product mapping, clustering, variation setup, item maintenance, and assortment changes.
- Monitor listings to ensure products are live, accurately represented, and displayed correctly.
- Identify and help resolve catalog issues, listing errors, suppressed products, and marketplace notifications.
- Support promotional events such as Prime Day, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Walmart Deals, and seasonal campaigns.
- Assist with marketplace reporting and track operational KPIs, product status, and performance.
- Coordinate with Merchandising, Logistics, Customer Service, IT, and global Marketplace teams to resolve daily operational issues.
- Help document processes and identify opportunities to improve workflows, automation, and operational efficiency.
What We’re Looking For
- 0–2 years of experience in e-commerce, marketplaces, retail, operations, merchandising, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and large amounts of product information.
- Analytical mindset and willingness to investigate and solve problems.
- Ability to manage several tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style.
- Proactive, reliable, and willing to take ownership.
- Positive attitude, curiosity, and eagerness to learn.
- Fluent English.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Amazon Seller Central or Vendor Central.
- Experience with Walmart Marketplace.
- Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
- Familiarity with product catalog management, marketplace tools, or PIM systems.
- Experience with AI or automation tools.
- Fashion, retail, or luxury brand experience.
