Operations Excellence Deployment Lead

At PMI, we’re transforming our business to deliver a smoke-free future. We’re seeking an Operational Excellence Deployment Lead to drive the implementation of PMI’s manufacturing excellence program (OPEN ) at our Aurora manufacturing facility. This role will help build organizational capability, improve performance, and ensure sustainable adoption of operational excellence practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead deployment of PMI’s Operational Excellence (OPEN ) systems, tools, standards, and best practices.
• Provide governance and support for OPEN implementation across departments.
• Build capabilities through training, coaching, and on-floor support.
• Monitor KPIs, analyze losses, identify performance gaps, and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure alignment with global OPEN standards and requirements.
• Collaborate with business units and global teams to identify and implement best practices.
• Support communication and visibility of operational excellence initiatives and the Manufacturing of the Future roadmap.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and EHS requirements.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience in Operational Excellence, Production, IWS, TPM, WCM, OPEN , or similar manufacturing systems.
• Strong knowledge of OPEN , IWS, IL6S, WCM, TPM, or comparable continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  
  

Annual Base Salary Range: $96,800 - $121,000
