Passionate about teaching the lifesaving skill of swimming? We are looking for individuals, age 15 to serve as swim instructors or aides. As a swim instructor or aide you develop important skills such as communication, leadership and responsibility that will serve you for a lifetime!

What is needed for this job as our Swim Instructor (Or Instructor Aide):
-
Age 15
-
Experience with kids and passionate about teaching children to swim
-
Ability to pass American Red Cross CPR Certification
-
Ability to complete and pass our in-water skills assessment
The responsibilities we will trust you with as our Swim Instructor (Or Instructor Aide):
-
Provide a safe environment that allows members and participants to learn to swim
-
Encourage and support students to provide an enjoyable aquatics experience
-
Evaluate swimming skills; complete progress reports for each session; complete communications for parents

Participate as a part of the aquatics staff team in providing a safe and enjoyable environment

Attend staff meetings and trainings as required
