Sign Installation/Sign Maintenance - Experienced
Philadelphia Sign Company, one of the nation’s largest and most established national sign companies, has an opening for an experienced installer. This position offers the opportunity to join a team and help to expand this division. The opportunity may offer national travel at times, as needs of the overall business grows. Philadelphia Sign is searching to hire individuals who are looking for a long-term role with room to grow as our operation does.
This exciting opportunity is based in Palmetto Florida and services all parts of Florida. We are looking for a motivated and reliable experienced sign installer who can add to the team by having the following skills all of which are critical to the overall success of the team.
To be successful, candidates must possess a combination or all of the following skills: Electrical, Carpentry, Sheet Metal, HVAC, Welding and Landscaping. If you have a CDL Class B license, that is a plus! In addition, this role has the following requirements:
- Ability to read blueprints and other construction drawings.
- Ability to work in outdoor climates throughout the year.
- Comfortable with hand and power tools.
- Ability to multi-task and assist in coordination of scheduling.
- Must be safety oriented and adhere to all OSHA and Philadelphia Sign Company safety requirements.
- Operate all types of aerial lifts, including but not limited to crane trucks, bucket trucks, and scissor lifts.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Understanding of email and other email and electronic correspondence.
- High level of professionalism to interact with customers and their contacts.

Qualifications:
- Must be accurate, detailed, reliable, and able to follow orders on projects and tasks with minimal supervision.
- Must have ability to be proactive and trouble shoot.
- Construction Experience preferred but not required.
- Minimal travel throughout Florida required. Travel is a must (crews will be working throughout Florida as needed)

Hourly rate is commensurate with experience and ability.
