Warehouse Forklift Operator/Material Handler (Days)

The position is primarily responsible for loading and unloading trucks for incoming and outbound trucks. They also support a food manufacturing warehouse by moving materials to and from production and storage areas in the warehouse. Salary, based on experience and other qualifications: $23.00 per hour Essential Duties & Responsibilities Operates forklifts and pallet jacks in a safe manner as required by law and company policy. Inspects trucks for general cleanliness (per company procedures/policies) before loading or offloading. Inspects truck trailers, products, cases, totes, seals, and pallets to ensure required specifications are met. Loads trucks with finished product in pre-scribed manner. Ensures product and date codes are correct prior to loading. Maintains organization and sanitation as required throughout the warehouse. Performs general maintenance on forklifts. Manually stacks and un-stacks materials as needed. Correctly fills out and completes all paperwork in a legible manner. Participate in Periodic Inventories and Cycle Counts as scheduled or required. Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
