Description
Under the general direction of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Controller is responsible for the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of PHDC's accounting and financial reporting functions across PHDC and its affiliated entities. The employee in this class serves as the organization's principal technical accounting authority; establishes accounting policies and internal control standards; oversees financial reporting, audits, grants accounting, accounts receivable, treasury operations, and financial systems; supervises the Director of Accounting; and performs related work as required.

Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Completion of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in accounting, finance, or a closely related field; a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.
• At least eight years of progressively responsible accounting experience, including at least three years managing and developing professional staff and experience supervising other managers.
• Experience managing financial statement audits and complex multi-entity financial reporting.
• Experience in a governmental, public-sector, housing, community development, or nonprofit environment is preferred.
• An equivalent combination of acceptable training and experience that demonstrates the required competencies may be considered.

Salary : $130,000 - $150,000
