We are seeking a board-certified physician in Geriatric Medicine and/or Palliative Care to join our department. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, teach osteopathic medical students and residents, and contribute to research and scholarly activities.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Clinical: 60%
- Provide primary and consultative care to geriatric and palliative patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.
- Participate in on-call rotations
- Teach osteopathic medical students and residents in classroom and clinical settings.
- Develop and implement curriculum related to geriatric and palliative medicine.
- Mentor students and residents in research and scholarly projects.
- Conduct research in geriatric and palliative medicine.
- Publish peer-reviewed articles and present at national conferences. 3. Secure funding through grants and other mechanisms.
- Participate in departmental and institutional committees.
- Contribute to community outreach and education initiatives.
- Collaborate with healthcare organizations to advance geriatric and palliative care.
Education
- DO or MD Geriatric Medicine and/or Palliative Medicine (required)
- Board certification in Geriatric Medicine and/or Palliative Medicine (required)
- Completion of residency training in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Licensure to practice medicine in Pennsylvania.
- Strong clinical and teaching skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in medical education and curriculum development.
- Research experience and publication record.
- Leadership experience in departmental or institutional roles.
- Certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
