Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of industrial equipment, production areas, and warehouse spaces using appropriate cleaning agents and methods.
- Conduct sanitation procedures in work environments to meet strict safety and hygiene standards.
- Operate heavy-duty cleaning machinery such as floor scrubbers, pressure washers, and industrial vacuums to maintain cleanliness across large areas.
- Assist with janitorial tasks including trash removal, surface disinfection, and restocking supplies to ensure a tidy workspace.
- Follow detailed cleaning schedules and safety protocols to prevent contamination and accidents.
- Document completed cleaning tasks, report maintenance issues, and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Support team efforts during busy periods by assisting with custodial duties in various departments or storage zones.
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in industrial or manufacturing settings preferred.
- Hands-on experience with industrial cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, floor scrubbers, or steam cleaners is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with sanitation standards relevant to food processing or manufacturing environments is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods.
- Experience working in warehouses or large-scale facilities demonstrating strong organizational skills.
