Role Description
This is a hybrid Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner role based in Bedford, NH, with some flexibility for remote work. The practitioner will actively provide psychiatric care, including conducting patient assessments, diagnosing mental health conditions, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications, and monitoring patient progress. Additional responsibilities include conducting follow-ups, collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams, maintaining detailed records, and providing support to patients to achieve their mental well-being goals.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills in mental health assessment, including the ability to diagnose various psychiatric and emotional disorders.
- Proficiency in psychopharmacology and the ability to develop and implement effective treatment and medication plans.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
- Commitment to delivering compassionate and patient-centered mental health care while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization in psychiatry, and current licensure as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR), telehealth platforms, and managing hybrid work environments is an advantage.
- Demonstrated organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and maintain schedules for patients in both in-office and remote settings.
