The Opportunity
Join our orthopedic surgery team as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, RNFA, where you'll work alongside experienced surgeons while building expertise in a dynamic, hands-on role.

What You'll Do
Clinical Care (2.5 days/week)
- Provide pre and post-operative patient care in our orthopedic clinic
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop treatment plans
- Perform procedures including casting, splinting, suturing, joint aspirations/injections
- Manage both new and follow-up patients in collaboration with our surgical team
- First-assist in surgical procedures alongside experienced orthopedic surgeons
- Complete operative reports, progress notes, and post-operative orders
- Gain valuable hands-on surgical experience in a mentorship-focused environment
- Work closely with physicians, RNs, and healthcare professionals in team-based care
- Counsel patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and health promotion
- Participate in staff education and training initiatives
- Build lasting relationships with patients throughout their care journey
Education & Licensure
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant Program
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program, including Frist Assist Certification
- Current or eligible for Missouri State Licensure
- Current or eligible for DEA and BNDD licensure for prescriptive authority
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
- Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
- Comfortable with EHR systems and medical documentation
- Customer-focused approach with dedication to patient care
