Position Overview
The Shift Supervisor is responsible for leading and supporting front-line staff during peak hours in a fast-paced, family entertainment environment. This role ensures exceptional guest experiences across bowling lanes, events, food & beverage service, and recreational areas while maintaining smooth operations and team performance.
Key Responsibilities
➔ Supervise and coordinate staff, including front desk, bartenders/servers, party hosts, kitchen staff, and mechanics
➔ Provide direction, coaching, and real-time problem-solving during shifts
➔ Oversee operations, bowling flow, bar and kitchen coordination, and party execution
➔ Ensure all areas (lanes, arcade, mini-golf) are clean, safe, and operational
➔ Ensure staff deliver high-quality customer service in a family-friendly, high-energy atmosphere
➔ Act as the main point of contact for guest concerns or escalations
➔ Assist with register oversight, cash handling
➔ Provide clear and timely updates to management regarding shift performance, staffing needs, and operational challenges
Qualifications
➔ Previous supervisory or leadership experience (hospitality, entertainment, or food service preferred)
➔ Strong customer service and communication skills
➔ Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
➔ Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
➔ Ability to stay calm and make decisions under pressure
