Housekeeper

Bed and Breakfast in Carlisle, PA seeking a part-time housekeeper. We are looking for someone with excellent cleanliness standards to do housekeeping chores, clean guest rooms, bathrooms, and common spaces at our property. As a hospitality business our goal is to enhance our guests' experience by presenting all areas in a clean and orderly condition, and maintain a warm and welcoming environment. No experience required, we will provide training and support. Your duties would include:

• Ensure guest rooms are clean, well-maintained, and properly stocked with amenities.
• Strip beds and remove linens and towels from rooms and carry to basement laundry room.
• Clean bathrooms, disinfect and dust guest room fixtures, mop and vacuum.
• Carry bed linens, towels and bath rugs to rooms and make beds.
• Occasional assistance with laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing.
• Occasional assistance with maintaining common spaces, to include cleaning the powder room, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors, and dusting furniture to maintain a clean and orderly appearance throughout the property.

The ideal candidate meets the following requirements:

Part-time: Flexible schedule, 3-5 days/week, 10-20 hours/wk, between 10:00AM-3:00PM. Must be able to work Sundays for at least 3 hours between 11am-4pm, and may be needed on the occasional Saturday.

Previous cleaning experience is helpful, but not required. Seeking an energetic candidate who actually enjoys housework/cleaning/making beds/doing laundry/vacuum/dusting.

Candidate must be dependable and trustworthy.

All cleaning supplies are provided.

Candidate can prioritize, complete tasks, and work independently.

Ability to adapt in a changing environment.

Ability to climb stairs, carry items up/down stairs, and lift 15-20 pounds.

Maintain high standards of quality service and cleanliness.
