The Opportunity - Senior Associate, Paid Social & Search

The Senior Associate, Paid Social & Search will play a pivotal role in leading and managing paid social and search marketing campaigns. They will be responsible for fine-tuning their understanding of these disciplines, taking on more day-to-day management responsibilities, and supporting the team in achieving campaign goals.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual who is eager to learn and grow in the field of Paid Social & Paid Search marketing. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

A strong analytical mind is essential for this role, as the candidate will need to analyze data and identify trends to optimize campaign performance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Paid Social & Search campaigns: Oversee the implementation of day-to-day activities and provide updates to the team
  • Billing: Support the team in monthly billing and reconciliation process and protocols
  • Conduct analysis: Analyze in-platform data to identify optimization opportunities and make recommendations.
  • Monitor performance: Track account performance, identify trends, and make necessary adjustments.
  • Creative assets management: Uploading and managing creative assets to Social platforms. Also, lead in the creation of Paid Search keywords and ad copy
  • Support team members: Train and mentor junior team members and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Contribute to reporting: Assist in the creation and analysis of performance reports. Develop insights and actions (implications) that demonstrate a thorough understanding of the client’s goals across all relevant objectives
  • Quality Assurance: Act as a quality assurance check for the account and Excel workbooks

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or communications, or relevant post-secondary education, training, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 year relevant Paid Social and Search management experience
  • Hands on keyboard experience with major Paid Social platforms (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Reddit, etc.)
  • Hand on keyboard experience with Google Ads
  • Hand on keyboard experience with any bid management platform like SA360 or Marin
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply new software and tools
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to think critically, passion for A/B testing
  • A results-driven professional with a passion for learning and a desire to success in a fast-paced agency setting
  • Actively seeks out opportunities to learn and develop new skills
  • Enjoys working in a team environment and contributes to a positive team dynamic
  • Strong communication and organization skills

In addition to technical skills, Senior Associates should be able to effectively communicate, including the ability to:

  • Effectively convey insights to the client
  • Tie what’s happening in the accounts to the client’s business
  • Build relationships with clients and partners such as engines or networks
  • Adjust their communication style based on the audience
  • Prepare basic and assist with client-facing deliverables, including presentations and quarterly reviews

Preferred Certifications/Skills

  • Certifications from major Paid Social platforms (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Reddit, etc.)
  • Google Ads Search Certification
  • Google Search Ads 360 Certification
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, vacation days, sick days, personal days, paid parental leave, paid medical leave, and STD/LTD insurance benefits.

Compensation Range

$34,000—$65,000 USD

This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs. Please note that the number or required in-office days may be adjusted over time, potentially increasing the number of required in-office days based on business needs.
