Master Technician - Automotive

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Master Technician - Automotive to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in automotive repair and diagnostics, particularly with GM vehicles and diesel engines. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency with hand and power tools, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional customer service.

Duties

• Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics to identify issues related to mechanical systems, electrical systems, and powertrains.
• Conduct repairs on various vehicle components including transmissions, alignment systems, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).
• Utilize schematics for troubleshooting and repair processes.
• Maintain high standards of vehicle maintenance and repair while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Provide accurate auto estimating for repairs and services needed.
• Collaborate with service technicians to enhance workflow efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Engage with customers to explain repairs and maintenance procedures clearly.
• Execute welding tasks as needed for vehicle repairs.
• Keep detailed records of services performed on vehicles.

Qualifications

• Proven dealership experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair techniques.
• Proficiency in working with hand tools, power tools, and automotive electrical systems.
• Experience with vehicle maintenance practices, including alignment and powertrain repairs.
• Familiarity with diesel engine repair is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
• Previous service technician experience is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics related to automotive systems.

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
