RN Unit Manager
Newfane, NY | Full-Time | $90,000–$95,000/year
We are seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to join a skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. The RN Unit Manager will work closely with the DON and ADON to oversee daily nursing operations, provide clinical leadership, and support nursing staff in delivering quality, resident-centered care.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day nursing operations and provide leadership to nursing staff
- Assist with staffing and ensure appropriate nursing coverage
- Provide clinical guidance, supervision, and support to nursing staff
- Monitor nursing practices and compliance with facility policies and standards
- Address staff concerns, complaints, and grievances
- Assist with employee coaching, counseling, and disciplinary matters
- Support staff development, accountability, and teamwork
- Collaborate with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams to address clinical and operational concerns
- Promote resident safety and quality of care
Qualifications:
- Current New York State RN license
- Minimum 2 years of skilled nursing facility (SNF) experience
- Previous supervisory or nursing leadership experience preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams
