Salary is 125,000 to 155,000
2 days remote and 3 days onsite
FIX Integration Engineer with strong experience in trading systems, client connectivity, and FIX-based certification. This role involves hands-on integration with OMS/EMS vendors, client environments, and internal systems to ensure seamless electronic trading operations. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Fixed Income markets and a strong background in FIX connectivity, workflow design, and production support.
Key Responsibilities:

Execute FIX API certifications and integration testing with third-party vendors, clients, and partners.

Collaborate with OMS and EMS vendors to design, document, and implement efficient FIX workflows and integration specifications.

Maintain and support QA/UAT environments, including FIX connections, backend processes, and vendor systems.

Build, configure, and test certification and demo environments for client and internal use.

Participate in validation and rollout of new features, ensuring smooth deployment and client readiness.

Provide technical support for SQL-based applications, FIX connectivity, and proprietary integration tools.

Partner with internal teams to troubleshoot, escalate, and resolve complex connectivity or workflow issues.

Coordinate with sales and client teams to manage application upgrades, client onboarding, and feature demonstrations.

Assist in documenting technical processes and training internal users on new system capabilities.
Qualifications:

Experience in technology within the buy-side, sell-side, or trading vendor space.

Strong knowledge of Fixed Income trading systems, workflows, and market structures.

Hands-on expertise with FIX Protocol, certification processes, and connectivity testing.

Ability to write and interpret FIX specifications and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
