SMT Operators play a crucial role in the manufacturing process within various industries, including power electronics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining SMT equipment, ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate SMT equipment including screen printers, pick‑and‑place machines, and reflow ovens
- Conduct inspections using visual inspection and Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) systems
- Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on SMT equipment
- Monitor production quality and ensure work meets established standards and schedules
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve SMT processes and efficiency
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience as an SMT Operator, SMT Machine Operator, or in electronics manufacturing
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and documentation
- Strong attention to detail and hand‑eye coordination
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
