Position Overview
We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to play a key role in supporting recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee engagement. This position ensures compliance with employment laws and organizational policies while helping to foster a positive, people-first culture.
What You’ll Do
- Lead recruitment, screening, and onboarding processes
- Coordinate interviews, offers, orientations, and new hire paperwork
- Support employee training, retention, and succession planning
- Track compliance with licensing, regulatory, and training requirements
- Promote positive employee relations and communication across departments
- Support HR department with projects including audits and benefit enrollments
- Prepare reports, policies, and file performance review documents
- Collaborate with leadership to maintain HR best practices for safety, welfare, and wellness
Qualifications
- Belief that every human being has gifts & potential waiting to be unlocked & discovered – that the world, and humanity, flourishes only when each person’s gifts are revealed, cultivated & celebrated 1–3 years of HR experience in recruitment, onboarding, or employee relations.
- Belief that everything P-I does should be designed to help individuals unlock, discover and develop their potential to fully participate in the world around them, including freely & equitably accessing competitive integrated employment.
- Associate’s degree in Human Resources or related field, preferred
- PHR or related HR certification preferred
- 1–3 years of HR experience in recruitment, onboarding, or employee relations
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and HR database systems
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
- Must pass background check, motor vehicle record check, and health card requirements
