Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Midland, TX. This full-time, on-site role involves leading electrical design and engineering for large-scale industrial and energy-sector projects. The ideal candidate has strong electrical engineering expertise, experience in power systems, and a background in the oil and gas or energy industry.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and implementation of industrial electrical systems.
Perform power distribution and power systems engineering for EPC projects.
Prepare electrical calculations, specifications, drawings, and design packages.
Ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE, NFPA, and industry standards.
Support project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
Collaborate with mechanical, civil, instrumentation, and construction teams.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering staff.
Coordinate with clients, vendors, and project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Strong proficiency in electrical design, power distribution, and power systems engineering.
Knowledge of electricity fundamentals, electrical codes, and industry regulations.
Proven analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Industry experience in oil and gas, energy, or industrial power systems.
Preferred Qualifications
Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Experience with EPC projects, gas processing facilities, compressor stations, or industrial plant construction.
Familiarity with design-build project delivery.
