Concrete Forklift Operator

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Concrete Forklift Operator. In this role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, load, and unload concrete materials, products, and equipment. You will ensure that all materials are handled efficiently, stored properly, and transported safely in compliance with company procedures and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move concrete products, raw materials, and supplies within the facility or job site.
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper stacking, securing, and placement of materials.
• Transport concrete forms, blocks, slabs, or other heavy materials to designated areas.
• Inspect forklifts daily to ensure proper working condition; report maintenance or safety issues promptly.
• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Maintain organized storage areas to optimize workflow and prevent damage.
• Assist with inventory counts and material tracking as needed.
• Support production teams by delivering materials to workstations as required.
• Adhere to all company policies, OSHA regulations, and industry standards for safe equipment operation.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid forklift certification/license (or willingness to obtain before start date).
• At least 5 years of forklift operation experience, preferably in a construction or concrete manufacturing setting.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor or industrial environments.
• Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
