Senior Software Engineer (.NET)
Location: Auckland, New Zealand office
Salary: NZ$120,000 – NZ$130,000 annually, plus company bonus pool

As a Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing, delivering, and maintaining high-quality cloud-based solutions for our customers. You will work closely with your team and the broader engineering organization to define technical solutions, implement features, and maintain the reliability and scalability of our platform. This role requires professional experience, strong technical judgment, and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end software development lifecycles using industry best practices.
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
- Architect high-performance cloud-based solutions that balance scalability, resilience, and cost-effectiveness to meet business objectives.
- Provide technical leadership to a cross-functional engineering team for requirements, technical design, development, and implementation.
- Lead proof of concept efforts in the team and proactively address technical uncertainty.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 9 years of professional software development experience, including significant experience with C# and JavaScript in cloud environments.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and backend development.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and collaborative software development.
- In-depth knowledge of the .NET framework and C#.
- Deep understanding of cloud architecture principles and hands-on experience with AWS Cloud environment (or similar).
- Understanding of how to develop scalable and robust solutions for large customer deployments.
- Experience with modern source control and CI/CD pipelines.
- Bringer of Solutions: proactive, dedicated, and collaborative problem-solver.
- Critical thinking: ability to evaluate trade-offs, anticipate challenges, and make informed design decisions.
- Communication: articulate, able to explain technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
