What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier/Pharmacy Clerk position at Pharmax Pharmacy?
This is a Part-time position and will perform basic retail and customer service tasks such as answer phones, check customers out at the register, work the drive-thru, and most importantly deliver prescriptions to customers. Experience in customer service is preferred but not required. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude that enjoys working with customers and as part of a team. A desire to develop pharmacy skills and gain pharmacy experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Sterilize surfaces and equipment and prepare the pharmacy for opening
- Greet customers and answer questions
- Complete transactions at the drive through window and main register.
- Resolve issues when they arise
- Select the appropriate medicine and measure dosages to fill prescriptions
- Sort, stock, label medication and monitor inventory
- Undertake administrative tasks (e.g.record-keeping) as assigned
- Comply with all security measures and quality standards
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
