The position supports inventory accuracy, returned product processing, outbound shipment coordination, and proper storage practices while working cross-functionally with Processing, Compliance, Packing/Sorter, Authorizations, and other operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Coordinate daily inventory flow to ensure accurate product handling, storage, movement, documentation, and outbound shipment processing.
- Oversee product storage processes to ensure inventory is properly scanned, tracked, and maintained within designated locations.
- Coordinate the flow of outbound product to ensure shipments are prepared, verified, tracked, and shipped according to company policy.
- Select appropriate shipping methods and carriers to meet delivery deadlines and cost targets.
- Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including BOLs, packing lists, and other required forms.
- Work with management to implement and monitor KPIs related to inventory accuracy, productivity, outbound performance, throughput, and turnaround times.
- Supervise and lead team members by recruiting, training, mentoring, coaching, and evaluating performance.
- Oversee departmental payroll processes, ensuring accurate timekeeping, overtime tracking, and collaboration with HR on discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Partner with HR and team leads to ensure proper training and documentation compliance.
- Support inventory accuracy initiatives, including cycle count
- Coordinate pallet staging for outbound shipments and automated sorter operations.
- Support warehouse technology and automation implementation.
- Analyze and improve inventory and outbound shipping processes for efficiency and accuracy.
- Review KPI reports on throughput, accuracy, labor utilization, and turnaround times.
- Assist with operation of material handling equipment, including forklifts, turret trucks, and pallet jacks.
- Support company policies, procedures, and core values.
- Serve as backup for the Warehouse Manager as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2-3 years of supervisory experience in warehouse, inventory, shipping, or related operations.
- Strong organizational, communication, training, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills, including data entry, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with shipping carriers and warehouse equipment preferred.
- Able to work across departments in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible, self-motivated, and available for overtime and weekends.
- Must pass background check and random drug screenings.
- Must be adaptable and comfortable working with a diverse workforce.
- Must be able to stand, walk, reach and bend for up to 10 hours a day if needed, with breaks.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Assistance is available upon request for lifting packages that exceed 40 lbs. or that are in unstable condition.
- Must be able to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
