Job Purpose:

The Commercial Operations Manager is responsible for managing the commercial team administration of projects and meetings including but not limited to preparing presentations, managing the speaker’s bureau, and trade show logistics. This position is also responsible for providing ongoing support on a variety of ongoing projects for the Marketing team and cross functional initiatives. Tasks will include implementation of marketing tactics and management of marketing collateral inventories, compliance reviews and record-keeping for auditing. This position will also play an integral role in the company’s communications initiatives spanning a broad array of channels, including social media, email, web publishing and more. Lastly, this position will assist in creating various ad hoc presentations and act as project manager in a variety of situations.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice.
  • Manage Annual Brand Plan process and monthly Joint Steering Committee Meetings with headquarters.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure high-quality and timely execution of marketing programs, and to ensure competitiveness.
  • Manage commercial speaker bureau and any affiliated vendors, including KOL communication, FMV assessment, and contracting.
  • Independently create compelling presentations for the commercial team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Assist leadership in ad hoc project management tasks.
  • Assist leadership in ad hoc presentation creation.
  • Ownership of the Commercial Team annual calendar to include communication of such and proactive preparation of materials for appropriate projects and meetings.
  • Represent the commercial team in a positive light, through great follow-through skills and sound judgement.
  • Manage print vendor to prevent low stock in inventory.
  • Manages compliance reporting for commercial team in collaboration with Compliance officer.


Trade Show Management:

  • Ownership of trade show logistics, handling registrations, and managing applications to maximize the company’s presence and impact.
  • Provide assistance to Commercial and Sales team with registration applications and planning of logistics for upcoming Trade shows / Conferences.
  • Situate virtual or live Trade show space.
  • Confirm virtual and physical assets required for each conference with PTI internal team lead.
  • Verify and confirm all necessary assets for each conference with Vendor.
  • Ensure all Booth displays, and other assets are returned to Vendor warehouse.
  • Collaborate with Marketing team on conference feedback.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications for a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years pharmaceutical commercial experience or an MBA with 1 year of pharmaceutical experience.
  • Minimum of 1 years marketing experience.
  • Must have strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail.
  • Excellent PowerPoint creation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as outstanding copy writing and proofreading skills.
  • Solid understanding on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Must have a high level of creativity.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and drive initiatives.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and results driven.
  • Expertise in managing trade show logistics.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
