Packaging Operator I (1st, 2nd & 3rd Shift)
Location: Fall River, MA

Shifts Available:
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Shift differential applies)
About the Role
We are seeking Packaging Operator I professionals to support packaging operations for inhalation and related pharmaceutical products. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow written procedures, and adherence to safety and quality standards in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Operators will work with automated and semi-automated equipment, complete batch documentation, support line changeovers, and ensure compliance with cGMP guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate packaging equipment safely and efficiently to meet production goals.
- Perform machine cleaning, line clearance, and changeover procedures between batches.
- Conduct basic troubleshooting and assist maintenance with equipment issues.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), cGMP requirements, and safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
- Wear required PPE, including respirators when needed.
- Support cross-functional areas when required (warehouse, manufacturing, facilities).
- Participate in training and adhere to company health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Lift, move, and handle materials using approved tools such as hand trucks.
Qualifications Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform frequent bending and standing.
- Ability to wear required PPE, including respirators.
- Understanding of basic mechanical equipment operation.
Preferred:
- 1 year experience in pharmaceutical / nutraceutical / food / cosmetic / chemical / medical device manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience working in a cGMP environment.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety practices.
- Experience completing batch records or other regulated documentation.
