About the Role
This role drives documentation governance for Facilities Engineering within a highly regulated biotech manufacturing site. You will safeguard engineering records, ensure audit-readiness, and enhance the documentation workflow supporting facility operations and compliance. You will operate as the central hub for documentation accuracy, traceability, and process evolution.
Responsibilities
• Manage and maintain Facilities Engineering documentation, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and compliance
• Execute document control procedures aligned with corporate quality standards and FDA requirements
• Support equipment, systems, and project documentation including Turnover Packages and Commissioning records
• Lead archival and version control through Electronic Content Management (ECM) and EDMS platforms
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, and cross-site teams to resolve documentation gaps and maintain operational continuity
• Drive improvements to documentation processes, workflows, and automation opportunities
• Provide document support for investigations, discrepancies, CAPA actions, and audits
• Deliver responsive daily support to site personnel while promoting strong communication across stakeholders
• Assist during month-end or peak operational demand with flexibility on shift modifications when needed
• Uphold cGMP, data integrity, and engineering compliance standards at all times
Required Experience
• 1 to 3 years of documentation control or Facilities Engineering support in a regulated manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with ECM/EDMS tools (QualityDocs, FileMaker Pro, Access, Oracle or equivalent)
• Ability to read, interpret, and update engineering drawings and technical files
• Strong writing ability for procedures, revisions, and technical documentation
• Highly organized, detailed execution mindset with the ability to work independently
• Solid analytical and problem-solving capability with a continuous improvement mentality
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform onsite responsibilities consistently
• High school diploma or GED required, advanced coursework or certification in documentation control preferred
