What You’ll Do
You will support internal researchers by processing biological samples, running PCR workflows, operating lab instrumentation and robotics, and performing quality control on genetic data. The work is hands-on, bench-focused, and central to daily research operations.
Core responsibilities include:
• Processing samples using both manual techniques and robotic systems
• Performing PCR, troubleshooting assays, and validating results
• Analyzing genetic data and performing QC checks
• Supporting the implementation of new lab technologies and workflows
• Working in a dynamic, collaborative, multi-stakeholder environment
What You Bring
• 1 to 2 years of experience in a laboratory setting
• Strong bench skills including manual PCR, instrumentation handling, and assay troubleshooting
• Ability to follow detailed protocols with precision
• High attention to detail and a strong learning mindset
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, lab-first environment
• BS degree in Biology, Genetics, Genomics, Forensics, or a related discipline
Nice to Have
• Experience with Next-Generation Sequencing
• Familiarity with Illumina or MiSeq platforms
• Exposure to automated liquid handling or lab robotics
