What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy Technician position at PharmaCare Services?
PharmaCare Services is seeking a reliable Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy team in Joplin, MO. This position assists the pharmacist(s) in storing, preparing, dispensing, reconciling, restocking automated dispensing machines, and charging of all medications to the nursing units and treatment areas serviced by the pharmacy. In addition, this position will assist the pharmacist(s) in maintaining an adequate drug inventory and quality control procedures.
The Pharmacy Technician shall work under the direct supervision of a licensed registered pharmacist and will only perform activities that are in compliance with the State Board of Pharmacy practices.
- Required: High school education or equivalent
- Required: MO Pharmacy Technician Registration
- Preferred: One (1) year of hospital pharmacy experience
- Preferred: Sterile IV compounding experience
- Preferred: Familiar with ADM (automated dispensing machines)
- PRN or Part-time; must be able to work some weekends
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
