About the Role

As the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Practice Lead, you will be the founder and chief architect of a practice vertical designed to guide clients through the high-stakes, rapidly evolving landscape of AI in healthcare. What You’ll Do

• Build an Elite Practice: Recruit, develop, and lead a high-caliber team of consultants, data scientists, and AI specialists with deep expertise in machine learning, generative AI, and life sciences. Foster a culture of strategic innovation, analytical rigor, and unwavering client impact.
• Spearhead Business Growth: Own the practice's P&L. Drive aggressive growth by generating new business with our established client base and securing new opportunities in the market. Your success will be directly and generously rewarded through an uncapped commission structure.
• Master AI Strategy & Application: Serve as the lead strategist for clients on all facets of AI, from R&D acceleration and clinical trial optimization to commercial launch strategies & omnichannel marketing, and beyond.
• Translate Vision into Value: Develop actionable roadmaps turning business challenges into solutions by unlocking and accelerating value-generation. Guide clients in leveraging advanced machine learning, predictive models, and agentic AI to solve their most complex challenges and create a true competitive edge.
• Champion Thought Leadership: Stay ahead of industry trends in AI, publishing insights and presenting at conferences to position PharmaACE as the go-to leader in applied AI for the life sciences.
• Foster a Culture of Excellence: Mentor and inspire a diverse, global team, fostering innovation, collaboration, and unparalleled client service.

What You Bring

• Proven Expertise: 10 years in top-tier consulting (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain) or leadership roles in life sciences consulting, with deep expertise in R&D analytics, strategy, and/or data science.
• Leadership Prowess: 5 years leading teams in a professional services environment, with a track record of building high-impact practices.
• Business Development Acumen: Demonstrated success in forging executive-level client relationships and driving multimillion-dollar revenue growth.
• Deep Functional Expertise: Fluency in the intricacies of AI/ML models, generative AI, agentic workflows, and their practical application to pharmaceutical challenges (e.g., target identification, patient stratification, marketing mix modeling, etc.).
• Industry Network: Strong connections in pharma, biotech, or healthcare analytics, with a pulse on R&D trends and challenges.
• Advanced Credentials: PhD, MBA, or equivalent advanced degree strongly preferred.
• Entrepreneurial Mindset: A builder’s mentality, energized by creating something new, solving complex problems, and delivering transformative impact.
