About the Role
As the Market Access, Pricing & Policy Practice Lead, you will be the founder and chief architect of a practice designed to guide clients through the high-stakes, rapidly evolving landscape of global healthcare. You will have the autonomy to build a world-class team, forge relationships with key industry stakeholders, and deliver strategic counsel that directly impacts patient access to innovation. Your mission is to create a consulting practice that provides unparalleled foresight and strategy in a world of increasing pricing pressures and policy disruption
What You’ll Do
- Build an Elite Practice: Recruit, develop, and lead a high-caliber team of consultants with deep expertise in market access, pricing, and health policy. Foster a culture of strategic innovation, analytical rigor, and unwavering client impact.
- Spearhead Business Growth: Own the practice's P&L. Drive aggressive growth by generating new business with our established client base and securing new opportunites in the market. Your success will be directly and generously rewarded through an uncapped commission structure.
- Master Market Access Strategy: Serve as the lead strategist for clients on all facets of market access, from early-stage planning to dynamic go-to-market and launch strategies. Develop sophisticated value propositions and stakeholder engagement models that secure optimal formulary placement and reimbursement.
- Command Strategic Pricing & Reimbursement: Lead complex pricing analyses, including launch price strategy, competitive landscape modeling, and formulary impact analysis. Provide expert guidance on gross-to-net (GTN) implications and international tender scenarios to maximize value.
- Navigate the Evolving Policy Landscape: Become a trusted advisor on the most critical policy shifts impacting the industry. Provide strategic counsel on the implications of US legislation like the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) and 340B, as well as global challenges like int’l reference pricing (IRP) and Most Favored Nation (MFN) policies.
- Innovate with AI & Analytics: Harness AI-powered tools and advanced analytics to enhance market access modeling, pricing scenarios, and policy impact assessments.
- Champion Thought Leadership: Stay ahead of industry trends, publishing insights and presenting at conferences to position PharmaACE as the go-to leader in market access and pricing strategy.

What You Bring
- A Proven Track Record: 10 years of experience in top-tier management consulting or a senior leadership role within a life sciences firm, with a deep focus on Market Access, Pricing, and Reimbursement strategy.
- Leadership Experience: 5 years in a leadership capacity, with demonstrated success in building and managing high-performing teams within a professional services environment.
- Business Builder: Verifiable success in developing executive-level client relationships, driving business development, and originating new revenue streams in the market access and pricing domain.
- Entrepreneurial DNA: A builder's mindset with a passion for creating new solutions, solving complex systemic challenges, and making a tangible impact on both clients and patient access.
- Deep Functional Expertise: Fluency in the intricacies of US and global payer systems, value assessment frameworks, pricing methodologies, and the evolving policy environment (IRA, 340B, IRP, etc.).
- Academic Credentials: An advanced degree (PhD, MBA, PharmD, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
- Industry Network: Strong connections in pharma, biotech, or healthcare analytics, with a pulse on market trends and customer insights.
- Global Mobility: Willingness to travel and work onsite with clients as needed.
