Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Electronics Technician based in Rockledge, FL. The Electronics Technician will be responsible for assembling, testing, and repairing electronic devices and systems to meet high-quality standards. Daily tasks include troubleshooting and diagnosing electronic issues, performing soldering tasks, ensuring efficient maintenance and repair, and collaborating with the engineering team to develop new products. The role requires precision and commitment to product performance.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Electronics Technology and fundamentals of Electricity.
- Proficiency in Soldering and related techniques for electronic assembly.
- Experience in Troubleshooting and diagnosing electronic systems for issues.
- Skills in Maintenance and Repair of electronic equipment to ensure reliable operation.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision in alignment with quality standards.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and best practices for handling electronics.
- Technical certification or degree in Electronics or a related field is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
- High School Degree or GED equivalent preferred.
- Experience in related industry preferred.
Requirements
Experience:
- Experience using soldering and other special electronics assembly tools preferred.
- Use of multimeters, scopes and other electronic measuring tools preferred.
Skills:
- Mastery of basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions).
- Working knowledge of the Company’s traveler (router, bill of materials, etc.).
- Ability to use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and tape measure.
- Ability to use soldering and other special electronics assembly tools.
- Ability to use multimeters, scopes and other electronic measuring tools preferred.
- Corrected 20/20 eyesight necessary to assemble small board parts.
